By creating an account or using Orphea: Broadway Companion (“Orphea,” “we,” “our”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Orphea is rated 4+. You must be old enough to consent to these terms in your jurisdiction (and at least 13) to create an account.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Orphea lets you choose a username and write impressions of shows that your confirmed friends can see. By using these features, you agree that you will not create, post, or share content — including in your username, display name, or written impressions — that is:
You also agree not to harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm other users.
You can report or block any user at any time from their profile in the app. We review every report and act on objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours — removing the content and suspending or permanently terminating the responsible account. We may remove content or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion and without notice.
You are responsible for the content you create. You retain ownership of it, and you grant us the limited license needed to store it and display it to the people you share it with in the app (such as your confirmed friends).
Orphea may link to third-party services (such as Ticketmaster) to view or purchase tickets to live events. Those transactions are governed by the third party’s own terms; we are not a party to them and are not responsible for them.
You may stop using Orphea and delete your account at any time (My Profile → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these terms.
Orphea is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Orphea: Broadway Companion (“Orphea,” “we,” “our”) is a mobile app for discovering and tracking Broadway musicals, playing a daily word game, and connecting with friends.
We use your information to provide app functionality: maintaining your account and profile, saving your library and ratings, running the daily game and leaderboard, powering the friends and activity feed features, showing nearby performances, and powering the Concierge. We also use limited usage data (such as Concierge requests and in-app interactions) to understand and improve the app. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
When you and another user become confirmed friends, they can see profile and activity you’ve shared in the app — such as the shows you’ve seen, your ratings, and your Showdle results. People who are not your confirmed friends cannot see this data. You can block or report other users at any time from their profile.
We use Supabase (hosted database and authentication), Apple Sign-In, the Ticketmaster API (to show event listings), OpenStreetMap Nominatim (to look up city names), and Anthropic (to power the Concierge: the request you type is sent to Anthropic’s API to generate show suggestions; per Anthropic’s API terms, it is not used to train their models). No personal data is shared with Ticketmaster or OpenStreetMap. We do not sell your data, share it for third-party advertising, or use any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and protected with row-level security in our database.
We retain your information for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app: My Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible and removes your profile, activity, ratings, friends, game history, and any other data tied to your account.
Orphea is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
